A Ravens X5 scratch-off ticket won a Maryland man $100,000.

In Maryland’s new Ravens X5 scratch-off game, a man named “Touchdown Joe” won the top prize of $100,000.

The $5 ticket was acquired by the 57-year-old Silver Spring man at an Annapolis Wawa where he and his wife were playing scratch-off games. On the bottom of the ticket, he discovered a football logo and one of seven top rewards beneath it.

He informed Maryland Lottery officials, “I was in shock.” “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”

“Touchdown Joe,” a stationary engineer, said he intends to use his winnings to restore his house and support his children, one of whom began college this year.

On Aug. 23, the lottery’s Ravens scratch-off games for 2021 went on sale, with $5 and $2 tickets available. Tickets that have been lost can be put into a second-chance drawing to win cash and Ravens fan experiences.

For selling the winning ticket, the Wawa store will receive $1,000.
