In the first trailer for Season 2 of ‘Bridgerton,’ Kate chastises Anthony.
On Saturday, Netflix released the first trailer for Season 2 of its period drama Bridgerton.
Julia Quinn’s book series, set in 18th century England, served as inspiration for the drama.
Quinn’s work The Duke and I served as the basis for Season 1. The story revolved around Simon, Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page) and Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor). The plot was told through Julie Andrews’ famed Lady Whistledown social weekly.
Season 2 is based on Quinn’s novel The Viscount Who Loved Me. Anthony Bridgerton’s (Jonathan Bailey) hunt for a wife will be followed. One of Anthony’s love interests is Kate (Simone Ashley).
A puzzled Anthony is seen following after Kate at a ball, only to be informed that he is arrogant and should think about whether he would be a worthy husband for whatever bride he chooses.
