iHeartMedia extends Ryan Seacrest’s contract through 2025.
Ryan Seacrest has signed a three-year extension with iHeartMedia that will keep him at the firm until December 31, 2025.
Seacrest began his career at iHeartMedia as a youngster, working at Atlanta’s 94.1 WSTR radio station before going to 98.7 in Los Angeles.
Under the new arrangement, the 46-year-old will continue to be a key figure on iHeartRadio, hosting the morning show at 102.7 KIIS-FM in Los Angeles, hosting the nationally syndicated On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and hosting American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest.
In addition to presenting the iHeartRadio Music Festival in New York and the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball performance, Seacrest will collaborate with iHeartMedia chairman and CEO Bob Pittman and president, COO, and CFO Rich Bressler on company projects.
In a statement, Seacrest said, “Continuing my connection with iHeartMedia was a no-brainer.”
“When you enjoy what you do, thirty years fly by. Every day, I get to interact with our listeners and hear their tales, which allows me to live out my ambition. Thank you to Bob and Rich, as well as the rest of the iHeartMedia team, for continuing to believe in us and helping us develop. And a special thanks to my on-air team, the greatest in radio, for making the show run smoothly every day,” he said.
