Snoop Dogg has announced that his next album, “Algorithm,” will be released in November.
Snoop Dogg announced on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he will release a new album called Algorithm in November.
“We’re releasing an album called Algorithm. Snoop Dogg announced another project on Monday, saying, “It’ll be out in November and it’ll have a lot of big-name acts and some new ones.”
“I’m also releasing a Def Jam Kids record this year. He went on to say, “Something for the kids.”
Snoop Dogg’s latest album, From the Streets to the Suites, was released in April.
The 49-year-old also told Fallon about his new job as a senior creative and strategy consultant at Def Jam.
Snoop Dogg stated, “I wanted to go over there and give a lot of opportunities to the musicians over there to gain some insight, wisdom, and direction from me.”
“And then also nurture some new acts and give some opportunities,” he said, “so Def Jam was the perfect location for me given how much I love it and how much it means to hip-hop.”
Snoop Dogg joined Fallon for a game of One-Second Rap Songs, in which he had to accurately name iconic songs that were only played for a second.
Snoop Dogg accurately identified all of the answers, including his own song “Gin and Juice,” which Fallon had played for a quarter of a second.
