The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offense will be boosted significantly this weekend. Antonio Brown is set to return to practice on Thursday after missing over a week due to a positive COVID-19 test. Brown will be activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list this afternoon, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero. That means he’ll be able to play against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Pelissero’s update should come as no surprise to Tampa Bay fans. After all, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said earlier this week that Brown would be back later this week. “His ten days are up,” Arians explained. “So [Thursday], he’ll be back.” ”

Antonio Brown was unable to play against the Los Angeles Rams because he tested positive. He might have been able to play if he’d generated two negative tests 24 hours apart. With Scotty Miller on injured reserve and Rob Gronkowski nursing a rib injury, the Buccaneers will be able to put Brown’s versatility to good use this Sunday.

Brown had a strong debut for the Buccaneers, catching five passes for 121 yards and a touchdown. In Week 2, his output was not nearly as impressive, as he only had one catch for 17 yards. With Brown back in the mix, it’ll be interesting to see how Tampa Bay’s passing attack looks.
