Due to sexual harassment allegations, a longtime Trump aide has been removed from the MAGA super PAC.

Officials close to former President Donald Trump have announced that longtime aide Corey Lewandowski has been removed as the head of his political action committee following sexual harassment allegations.

Trump’s communications director, Taylor Budowich, tweeted on Wednesday that Lewandowski “will no longer be associated with Trump World.” ”

“Corey Lewandowski will be moving on to other endeavors, and we greatly appreciate his service,” Budowich said in a brief statement.

In 2016, Lewandowski, 48, served as Trump’s presidential campaign manager and oversaw his Make America Great Again super PAC, a position Budowich said would be filled by Pam Bondi, a former Florida attorney general and Trump adviser.

Bondi “has our complete trust and confidence,” according to Budowich.

The firing of one of Trump’s longtime advisers comes just hours after a Trump donor, Trashelle Odom, accused Corey Lewandowski of sexually harassing her last week at a charity event in Las Vegas.

According to Odom, Lewandowski “repeatedly touched me inappropriately, said vile and disgusting things to me, stalked me, and made me feel violated and afraid” in a statement to The Washington Post. ”

She claimed he also boasted about his power, implying that he was responsible for Trump’s 2016 election victory while claiming to have control over Trump’s access.

“He said he is in charge of the donors and the super PAC,” she said, adding that “if he is crossed, he has the power to destroy anyone and ruin lives.” ”

Politico was the first to report on the allegations, and David Chesnoff, an attorney for Lewandowski, told the news organization that the allegations were false. He said,

, “Accusations and rumors appear to be morphing by the minute, and we will not dignify them with a further response.”
