Matthew Stafford’s first season with the Los Angeles Rams is off to a fantastic start, as the former No. 1 overall pick continues to show the sports world how dangerous he can be. Stafford has completed 70 percent of his passes in his first three games this season. 2% of his passes were completed for 942 yards and nine touchdowns. He has led the Rams to victories over the Bears, Buccaneers, and Colts during that three-week stretch. Stafford has been so impressive this season that NFL analysts have completely changed their minds about him.
ESPN analyst Bart Scott made a bold claim about Stafford on Thursday’s episode of Get Up . Stafford, he believes, is on par with any NFL quarterback, including Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers. Scott said, “I’ve always said Matthew Stafford was just as good as Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers.” “Now people will believe and understand that I wasn’t trying to throw things up in the air.” He is an excellent football player. ”

Scott isn’t the only former NFL player who has said something interesting about Stafford recently. Former wide receiver Golden Tate said on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football that Stafford’s lack of success was due to Detroit. “If you switch Stafford and Rodgers’ situations, I believe Stafford is equal to, if not more successful than Rodgers,” Tate said. Stafford was chosen first overall in the 2009 NFL Draft for a reason. Only gunslingers like Mahomes and Rodgers can match his arm talent. Stafford is proving that he is a special player now that he is surrounded by an elite coaching staff and supporting cast. Nokia News
