Football fans were stunned over the weekend when Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker missed a 49-yard field goal. But it didn’t take long for him to redeem himself..
With only seconds left on the clock, the Ravens drove into field goal range against the Detroit Lions, trailing 17-16. The Ravens lined up for a 66-yard field goal attempt with only three seconds left on the clock. Tucker gave it his all and then sat back and watched the ball sail towards the goalposts. Tucker’s kick clanked off the iron and into the uprights for an NFL-record 66-yard field goal. The longest made field goal in NFL history was set by the most accurate kicker in league history. Madden received a
raise in his rating as a reward. According to ESPN’s Field Yates, Madden increased Tucker’s rating to a 99, the highest possible in the video game.
After making his NFL-record 66-yard game-winning field goal on Sunday, @Ravens K Justin Tucker has had his Madden rating elevated to a 99 overall. It will be for a limited time.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald are two other notable 99’s in the game. Unfortunately for Tucker, it doesn’t appear that he’ll be a 99 for very long. Field Yates stated that his promotion to a 99 “will only be temporary.” Nokia News
