Patrick Mahomes, quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, appears to be very impressed with his newest teammate. The former MVP gushed about Josh Gordon and what he could bring to the offense on Wednesday. According to ESPN , Mahomes said of Gordon, “Everywhere he’s been, he’s kind of dominated.” “In one-on-one coverage, he can make plays.” ”
Mahomes admires Gordon’s ability to make plays even when he’s surrounded by defenders. That means Mahomes might be able to thread the needle when it comes to catching the former All-Pro wide receiver. “He’s a big receiver,” Patrick Mahomes explained.
“Even if he’s protected, he’s still not protected..” You can just toss it up there and he’ll figure it out. ”
Gordon will begin his career with the Chiefs’ practice squad before being promoted to the active roster. If he still has gas in the tank, he’ll provide the Chiefs with another wideout capable of consistently outrunning one-on-one coverage. Despite his physical abilities, Gordon may have to wait a few weeks to see the field.

At least, that’s what Andy Reid, the Chiefs’ head coach, said to reporters on Wednesday.
“It’ll take a while,” Reid predicted. “It’s not going to happen this week.” We’ll just have to wait and see how things go over the next week or two. ”
Gordon could make his Chiefs debut against the Buffalo Bills next weekend. Of course, this assumes that everything goes as planned in practice.
