Rotimi, star of ‘Power,’ celebrates the birth of his first kid.
Rotimi, a powerful actor, is a new father.
With his fiancée, Vanessa Mdee, the 32-year-old actor had his first kid, son Seven Adeoluwa.
Rotimi announced the news on Instagram on Wednesday, alongside a snapshot of his infant child clutching his finger.
He captioned the photo, “Seven Adeoluwa Akinosho.”

Mdee shared the same image on her own Instagram account.
In the comments, singer Akothee, musician Maua Sama, and model Judith Heard were among those who wished the pair well.
Akothee wrote, “Auuuu mother congratulations my love.”
“Congratulations on your new baby. You get to bring more pleasure, laughter, and love into your family with the addition of a new member. I hope you enjoy every moment and every ‘first’ you’re about to have,” Heard remarked. “My heartfelt greetings to your new arrival. Mama and papa, many congratulations.”
Mdee and Rotimi, who was born Olurotimi Akinosho, were engaged in December. The couple announced they were expecting their first child earlier this month.
“We are ecstatic to welcome our baby into the world. Everything about this journey has been a brand-new difficulty for us as first-time parents,” the couple told People. “It’s fantastic.”
On Starz’s Power, Rotimi played Andre “Dre” Coleman. He was most recently seen in the sequel to Coming to America, Coming 2 America.
