Take a look at LeBron’s nickname for the team’s new Big 3.

During his NBA career, LeBron James has been a part of a few memorable “Big Threes.” The four-time champion teamed up with two of the league’s best players with both the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers to form some of the league’s most formidable teams.

Fast forward to 2021, and James has once again become a member of the Big Three.

The Los Angeles Lakers formed a new super team this offseason when they made a blockbuster trade for star point guard Russell Westbrook from the Washington Wizards. On the team’s revamped roster, the nine-time All-Star will join James, Anthony Davis, and a slew of other notable NBA veterans.

The birth of a new Big Three necessitates a new moniker, and it appears that LeBron and the new-look Lakers have settled on “360°.”

The nickname “360°” refers to the Lakers’ three superstars’ jersey numbers. Davis will wear his No. 3 jersey again this season, while LeBron announced earlier this summer that he would return to his Heat No. 6 jersey. After wearing No. 4 with the Wizards last season, Westbrook was able to return to his usual No. 0 uniform.

When you add it all up, you get the nickname “360°.” LeBron appeared to have a hand in the Big Three’s moniker, as he was seen in a video posted by the Lakers Twitter account arranging his teammates for a photo during media day.

Now that the crucial task of choosing a nickname has been completed, LeBron and the Lakers can focus on training camp. If Los Angeles hopes to compete for a championship this season, head coach Frank Vogel will need to develop chemistry between his three stars.

With James, Davis, and Westbrook’s talent, the sky is the limit for the Lakers in 2021.
