Deshaun Watson trade rumors have been circulating for a while now, with one in particular gaining traction in recent days.
FOX NFL insider Jay Glazer provided a major update on the situation over the weekend. Glazer reported on Fox NFL Sunday that “they weren’t open to trade talks unless someone was going to give them a ridiculous trade offer, more than six draft picks.” “They’d already been given three ones and three threes, but they wanted more.” However, I was told that in the last week, their stance on that has softened a little bit. He doubled down on
on Wednesday afternoon. “As for teams,” he tweeted, “I think Miami makes the most sense and probably has the best chance to pull it off IF a deal gets done.” “Keep your eyes on this situation..”
The Dolphins are currently without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who is suffering from a hamstring injury. Is it possible that the AFC East team is finally ready to make a deal?
ICYMI! On Sunday I shared that the Texans stance on trading Deshaun Watson has softened where they weren’t even returning calls from teams in camp. That has changed. As for teams, to me Miami makes the most sense and probably has the best chance to pull it off IF a deal gets done pic.twitter.com/QTljSUpNRi

Fans, of course, are skeptical that a team would trade for him given the allegations of sexual misconduct. “Would he legitimately play right away if traded?”
“That’s the million-dollar question for all of us,” one fan exclaimed.
“Goodell will suspend him as soon as he is traded..” “You can count on it,” another fan predicted. The Dolphins, on the other hand, don’t seem interested in discussing any rumors, which is understandable.
More Dolphins/Watson news on NFL pre-game shows today. CBS now joins PFT in reporting Ross wants Watson (Dolphins are done commenting about these Ross/Watson reports). Fox’s Jay Glazer said Houston is now more open to trading him and the Dolphins are the “obvious trade partner.”

The NFL’s trade deadline is less than a month away, giving the Dolphins – and other potential landing spots – plenty of time to make a decision. However, among the rumored destinations, Miami is currently the clear favorite.
