While the focus of this week’s visit will be on Nick Saban’s reigning national champion program, Manning’s gaze will most likely be drawn to the other sideline.
Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss program is also a five-star team. His grandfather, Archie, and uncle, Eli, both played for the Rebels, and his father, Cooper, was a highly touted recruit for the team before his career was cut short due to a rare spinal condition. ). Last month, the Isidore Newman junior went to Sanford Stadium to see the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs defeat SEC rival South Carolina. After Saturday’s marquee matchup, he’ll travel to Texas, Ole Miss, and Clemson to round out the month of October. While both Saban and Kiffin are focused on completing their undefeated seasons in 2021, the battle for Manning will undoubtedly be on their minds this weekend.
