With only a few weeks until the start of the 2021-22 NBA season, Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins is fielding questions from his teammates about his anti-vaxx stance.
Warriors forward Draymond Green was asked about Wiggins’ stance on Thursday. Green responded that he does not believe he is in a position to advise Wiggins.
The three-time All-Star brushed off the question, saying it was too political. He believes that respecting people’s feelings is more important than anything else. Green said, “I’m not in any position to tell him what he should or shouldn’t be doing.” Green’s attempt to walk the line on the issue didn’t go over well with everyone.
Needless to say, Green’s attempt to walk the line on the issue didn’t go over well with everyone. Many people are pointing out the flaws in his logic or simply shaking their heads at how ridiculous the two of them are:

“And this is the main issue: everyone thinks this is a political personal choice when it isn’t. One fan pointed out that it’s a health issue that’s being pushed so hard because people are dying. “Dude, you can’t be serious???”
One fan wrote, “He’s gonna miss 41 games ffs get him out of here.” “Right, I’m sure Draymond never tells his teammates what to do,” a third person wrote. Nobody is going to force Andrew Wiggins to take the vaccine, it appears.
Wiggins, on the other hand, will be subjected to a slew of restrictions until he does, particularly in the city where he currently plays.
San Francisco has a vaccine requirement for NBA players, and if he isn’t vaccinated, he won’t be allowed to play home games for the Warriors. Nokia News
