The Dallas Cowboys will face the Carolina Panthers, who are still undefeated, in an NFC showdown in just a few days. Panthers head coach Matt Rhule paid a huge compliment to Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott before the game.
Prescott was compared to two Hall of Fame quarterbacks by him.
“… It’s like watching Peyton Manning or Drew Brees call the game from the line of scrimmage,” Rhule said. “I think what Dak is doing right now is truly remarkable. ”
Prescott listened to Rhule’s comments and accepted the compliment, but admitted he wasn’t quite there yet. “That’s a huge compliment..”
“I just have to keep getting better,” Prescott said, according to Cowboys reporter Jon Machota.

Rhule understands that Prescott is the engine that drives the Cowboys offense.
“I think you have to start with Dak Prescott when talking about (the Cowboys’ offense).” Last year, I kept an eye on him. This year, I’ve been keeping an eye on him. “He’s fantastic,” Rhule said, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic (). “From snap to throw, he’s the second-fastest player in the NFL right now, which is indicative of a quarterback who knows exactly where the ball is going vs. the defense, which is on the same page as his receivers and is calling the correct plays vs. on the right coverages, who’s making sure he’s protected…”
On Sunday afternoon, we’ll see what Prescott can do against a formidable Panthers defense.
