Star quarterback Lamar Jackson was not on the field when the Baltimore Ravens met for practice on Thursday.
Jackson has missed the last two days of practice due to a back issue, according to the Ravens. Greg Roman, the offensive coordinator, said the fourth-year pro is dealing with a ” flare up ” but that it isn’t a serious concern.
According to reports from around the NFL, the reaction to Jackson’s absence is nearly unanimous. No one is overly concerned at the moment. If the 2019 league MVP misses tomorrow’s practice, however, there’s reason to be concerned about his availability for Sunday’s game.
