Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre made an interesting comparison for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott earlier this week. Prescott has been compared to Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady by a longtime Green Bay Packers quarterback. What do you mean by that? Prescott, according to Favre, makes the correct decisions with the football on a regular basis.
“In some ways, it’s Tom Brady-like, in that Tom uses whatever is available. Is anyone available? On that particular play, who makes the best decision? According to Cowboys reporter Jon Machota, “That’s the beauty of how Dak is playing right now.”
This isn’t the first time Prescott has been compared to legendary NFL quarterbacks.
Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule paid a huge compliment to Prescott earlier this week. Prescott was compared to two Hall of Fame quarterbacks by him.
“… It’s like watching Peyton Manning or Drew Brees call the game from the line of scrimmage,” Rhule said. “I think what Dak is doing right now is truly remarkable. ”
Prescott wasn’t ready to accept such praise just yet when he heard that compliment. “Wow, that’s a huge compliment. “All I have to do now is keep getting better,” Prescott said. With a game against the Panthers on Sunday, Dak and the Cowboys will try to improve to 3-1 on the season. Nokia News
