Arch Manning can’t be stopped this season.
Isidore Newman’s five-star quarterback had a five-touchdown performance against Pearl River on Friday night.
For the past two years, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding Manning, who has attracted interest from nearly every Power Five program in the country. This week’s performance against Pearl River demonstrated why he is regarded as the best recruit in the 2023 class. Manning not only has the ability to thread the needle, but he can also attack defenses downfield. He had a deep touchdown pass to tight end Will Randle in the first quarter. It was, without a doubt, his best throw of the evening. Isidore Newman head coach Nelson Stewart told 247Sports that Manning was “on fire” after the team’s win over Pearl River last night. ”

Prior to the start of this season, Stewart predicted Manning would be very productive this year due to all of his offseason work. “He just likes the weight room and the ball is coming off,” Stewart said. “His deep ball has gotten a lot better and he’s killed it as a captain.” “He enjoys meeting with all of them and discussing practice plans and call charts. He’s had a fantastic summer and has been able to visit some fantastic schools without interfering with our work. ”
Last night’s performance backed up Stewart’s comments about Manning, as the star quarterback continues to show why he’s one of the best in the league.
