On Saturday, a rematch of former coworkers will take place in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. On Saturday afternoon, Nick Saban and No. 1 Alabama will face Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Kiffin, of course, used to work for Alabama’s Nick Saban. Before taking the FAU job, he worked as the offensive coordinator for Alabama for several seasons. The 46-year-old coach was at Alabama from 2014 to 2016, before moving to Florida Atlantic University in 2017.
Earlier this week, ahead of Saturday’s game, Saban made an frank admission about his time with Kiffin.
“I wanted things done a certain way,” Saban said, according to ESPN “I wanted to meet the coaches..” I wanted everyone’s opinion to be heard, which was not his style. Some of the other coaches complained to me about it, and I always told them that Lane would be a better head coach than an assistant because when you’re a head coach, you don’t need to be as organized because you’ve got organized people around you. ”

Kiffin would almost certainly agree with – or at least comprehend – Saban’s remarks.
Let’s hope we have a good one in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. On CBS, the game between Alabama and Ole Miss has begun.
