The Father of an Oklahoma Sooner Has a Direct Message For His Son.

Despite the fact that the Oklahoma Sooners are still undefeated heading into Week 5, Lincoln Riley’s offense is struggling. They’ve scored a total of 39 points in the last two games. That is simply unacceptable in this program.

With a crucial game against Kansas State on the horizon, an Oklahoma player’s father took to Twitter to express his displeasure with the Sooners’ offense. “Something has to change,” Marvin Mims Sr., the father of Oklahoma wide receiver Marvin Mims, tweeted on Friday. His tweet was in response to an article claiming that his son hasn’t had many opportunities since Week 1.

This elicited a vehement retort from Mims.

Mims replied, “I said something has to change.” “I didn’t say anything for my son; all I said was throw the ball to him.” Something has to change, I repeat. If you have trouble understanding what you’re reading, please don’t comment! ”

Mims had a great game against Tulane in Week 1. He hasn’t had more than 32 receiving yards in a single game since then. If the Sooners’ offense is to get back on track, they’ll need to get Mims more involved on offense.

This afternoon, we’ll see if Mims can have a breakout performance against Kansas State. Nokia News
