On Saturday, the Alabama Crimson Tide’s mascot, Big Al, trolled Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin.
Kiffin made a big statement ahead of Saturday’s SEC matchup. Alabama dominated the Rebels on the field this afternoon in Tuscaloosa, blowing them out in a dominant fashion. Kiffin didn’t think the game would end in a blowout.
In fact, Kiffin made it sound like he was going to make a statement just ahead of Saturday’s marquee showdown on CBS. During a pregame interview, Kiffin said, “Here we go, get your popcorn ready.”

During the game, Big Al, the Alabama mascot, couldn’t help but troll Kiffin. It appeared to be wearing a popcorn bucket around its waist. Take a look at

Well done, Big Al. That might be one of the best trolls of the year. Lane Kiffin, too, is deserving. Yes, the Ole Miss Rebels are on the right track.
Kiffin, on the other hand, has a long way to go before he can challenge Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide. To be honest, not many people can. Saban isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Alabama will continue to be a championship contender at the top of the mountain until he does. Despite their humiliating loss on Saturday, Kiffin and the Rebels have a lot to build on. However, the Ole Miss head coach should probably refrain from mentioning the Alabama Crimson Tide in the future.
