In case you haven’t heard, Tom Brady is playing against his former team, the New England Patriots, today at Gillette Stadium. While Brady and the Patriots parted ways amicably, Patriots owner Robert Kraft expressed his optimism for Brady’s future.
During an appearance on NFL Network, Kraft expressed his hope (and belief) that Brady will rejoin the Patriots. Brady, he believes, will retire as a member of his team. “I’m always rooting for Tommy, except when he’s playing us..”
Finally, I hope and believe he’ll return here, where we’ll present him with his red jacket, just as we did with you, and he’ll retire as a Patriot. ”
Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers contract runs through the 2022 season. But, given the way he’s playing, he’ll most likely be able to play well beyond that. Brady can always sign a one-day contract with the Patriots to retire with them.
Robert Kraft on NFL Network: “I’m always rooting for Tommy, except when he’s playing us. In the end, I hope and believe he’ll come back here and we’ll give him his red jacket (Patriots Hall of Fame), and he’ll retire a Patriot.”

Tonight’s game between Kraft’s Patriots and Brady’s Buccaneers is arguably the most hyped regular season game ever. Even though the Buccaneers are expected to win, everyone is interested in seeing how Brady, Kraft, and Bill Belichick react when they see each other.
During his time in New England, Brady led the Patriots to unprecedented heights. He won 17 AFC East titles, nine AFC Championships, and six Super Bowls, to name a few of his impressive accomplishments. It’ll be an emotional game.
If Robert Kraft gets his wish, Brady will not be the last person to enter the stadium. Nokia News
