Terry Bradshaw, a former NFL star quarterback who is now an analyst, reportedly said something interesting on Sunday afternoon. Sam Darnold and the Panthers have gotten off to a great start this season. Carolina is 3-0, with former New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez leading the way. Darnold has finally begun to resemble the player the Jets hoped to draft out of USC. Bradshaw is reportedly so impressed with Darnold that he believes he could be the best quarterback in Carolina Panthers history. Bradshaw reportedly said on Sunday afternoon, “I think [the Panthers]have hit on the best quarterback in franchise history.” He must be forgetting about Cam Newton.

The former first-round pick in the NFL was named MVP and led the Panthers to a Super Bowl appearance.
It seems a little early to suggest Darnold could beat that. Even Panthers fans would disagree.
Terry just said Sam is our best QB in franchise history. The disrespect for Cam is disgusting, biased, and offensive. That man deserves credit for what he did here.

Cam won an MVP and went to a Super Bowl there. Sam’s played well in 3 games. Incredible.

“Terry hasn’t watched the panthers in a long time and is a prisoner of the moment.”
Jake Delhomme and, in particular, Cam Newton, are without a doubt our best quarterbacks. “Sam has a lot of potential, but both of those guys made it to the Super Bowl, and one of them won MVP,” one fan wrote. It’s understandable to be ecstatic about Darnold’s arrival in Carolina, but let’s not get carried away. The Panthers are scheduled to face the Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.
