The Clemson Tigers are not ranked in the top 25 poll in college football for the first time in a long time. On Sunday afternoon, the new college football top 25 polls were released. The Tigers were ranked No. 23 in the Coaches’ Poll but unranked in the Associated Press poll. It’s the first time Dabo Swinney’s program hasn’t been ranked in one of the major top 25 polls since November of 2014.

One fan tweeted, “We’ll be back next year when an actual QB commits and Tony Elliot is gone.” The longest AP Poll ranked streaks are currently held by Alabama and Georgia (
). Both of these streaks are unlikely to end anytime soon, though we would have said the same about Clemson before the regular season began.
