Earlier this week, legendary NFL quarterback Brett Favre heaped praise on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.
Favre, one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, is a big fan of what the Cowboys quarterback is doing right now.
Dallas is 2-1 on the season, having beaten the Chargers and the Eagles back-to-back. The Cowboys’ lone defeat came in the season opener against the Buccaneers, who won on a last-second field goal.
“In some ways, it’s Tom Brady-like, in that Tom uses whatever is available. Is anyone available? On that particular play, who makes the best decision? … That’s the beauty of Dak’s current game,” Favre told The Athletic.
Cowboys fans are blown away.
“So in the last week, various coaches and players have compared him to Brees, Manning, Rodgers, and Brady..They’re all obviously wrong, right?” one fan wrote.
“Dak has unquestionably developed into one of the league’s best quarterbacks. Dak has a variety of offensive weapons at his disposal. Another fan added, “The defense needs to step up and make enough plays to make this a team contender.” “Dak being comped to Rodgers, Brees, and Manning meant more to me than Brady’s.”
I’m not sure, but I believe active coaches’ opinions are more important. “I’m not trying to take anything away from Favre’s point of view, and I’m sure the compliment is nice for Dak,” another fan added. On Sunday, Prescott and the Cowboys will face yet another significant challenge. At 1 p.m., Dallas will play Carolina. E.T.
