Venom: Let There Be Carnage, starring Tom Hardy, is the top-grossing film in North America this weekend, with $90.1 million in revenues, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.

The Addams Family 2 is in second place with $18 million, followed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings at third place with $6 million, The Many Saints of Newark at fourth place with $5 million, and Dear Evan Hansen at fifth place with $2.5 million.

Free Guy comes in at No. 6 with $2.3 million, Candyman comes in at No. 7 with $1.2 million, Jungle Cruise comes in at No. 8 with 680,000, Chal Mera Putt 3 comes in at No. 9 with $644,000, and The Jesus Music comes in at No. 10 with $560,000.

When Shang-Chi was No. 1 for a fourth weekend last weekend, the Top 10 grossed around $36.1 million.

The total box office for the week was $128.4 million, with 127.0 million coming from the top ten titles.

The total gross for the first weekend in October last year was $9.0 million. It was $150.6 million in 2019, before the coronavirus epidemic.
