‘Extremely Well-Fitting’ Analyst says he’ll be coming to the 49ers via the Texans.

The Houston Texans are sending pass rushers to the Bay Area to assist the San Francisco 49ers.

On NFL trade deadline day, the Texans chose to deal fast-rising rusher Charles Omenihu to the Niners in return for a future late-round draft pick, as originally reported by Texans reporter Aaron Wilson.

According to a league source @charless 94, the Texans have agreed to trade Charles Omenihu to the San Francisco 49ers.

Omenihu may not be a household name, but he becomes “a really excellent fit” for what the 49ers want to do in the trenches, according to one national ESPN draft analyst.

Matt Miller’s Thoughts

By tweeting this comment, Matt Miller, who not only breaks down prospective NFL players for ESPN but is also the founder of thedraftscout.com, already believes the 49ers are a better fit for Omenihu.

“Omenihu is an excellent fit for that defense. Will help a defensive line that has struggled this season (outside of Nick Bosa). On Twitter, Miller said, “I don’t think Charles was a great fit in what Houston was attempting to do.”

Miller is one of the 49ers’ critics for some of the team’s moves. But in this case, he had a different point of view:

For their movements, I give the 49ers a lot of grief. This isn’t the case. This appeals to me much.
