Laurent Duvernay-Tardif is no longer with the Chiefs, according to a report.

After acquiring edge rusher Melvin Ingram earlier today, the Kansas City Chiefs have completed another deal.

“The [New York] Jets are sending tight end Dan Brown to the Chiefs for guard Dr. Laurent Duvernary-Tardif,” NFL source Tom Pelissero announced only moments ago at 3:36 p.m., with 24 minutes to spare before the official deadline.

Since the emergence of rookie right guard Trey Smith, general manager Brett Veach has been shopping ‘LDT,’ so this one isn’t surprising. This appears to be a salary dump from Kansas City based on the return.
