The Sixers have unveiled their retro ‘Spectrum’ alternate uniforms.

With this year’s NBA City Edition uniform, the Philadelphia 76ers marketing department hit a home run. The alternate jersey and shorts pay homage to the Spectrum, dubbed “America’s Showplace” from 1967 to 1996, which served as the team’s home arena.

The outfits are cool, clean, and extremely nostalgic in every way. The jerseys have a navy blue base color with a “Sixers” wordmark over the breast in the style of the 1970s. The armpits are trimmed in red, white, and blue, with the Spectrum logo’s color panel – red for the Phillies, orange for the Flyers, green for the Eagles, and blue for the Sixers – going down both sides. Fans can buy them online (click here) or at the Wells Fargo Center beginning November 15th.

A “Brotherly Love” logo and Crypto.com patch (the Sixers’ official jersey patch partner), as well as NBA and Nike logos, are included on the tops. On one side, a custom-stitched “Spectrum” badge logo and a bicentennial “76” on the other, plus a “S” on the belt buckle, the shorts have a bicentennial “76” on one side and a bicentennial “76” on the other. On evenings when they wear the alternate uniforms, the Sixers plan to unveil a special “City Edition” court, inspired by the Spectrum and complete with color panels.
