The film is based on a short story of the same name published in 1924 and adapted into a film in 1932.
Richard Connell’s short story “The Most Dangerous Game” was published in 1924 and relates the story of a man who becomes stuck on an island after falling off a yacht. The man is pursued by the island’s owner, a Russian aristocrat and hunter who has grown tired of shooting big-game animals. The narrative has been adapted multiple times, the most famous of which was in 1932 as a film of the same name.
CT will play Sanger, the man who washes up on the unknown island after his ship explodes, according to Deadline. Sanger will be with his son in this adaption, and they will discover that their island host is actually a hunter who has turned the island into a human hunting reserve… Nokia News – Quick Recap
