For the Phoenix Race, Jack Wood has secured a new sponsor.
On Friday, November 5, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season will come to a close with the championship race at Phoenix Raceway (8 p.m. ET, FS1). Jack Wood of GMS Racing will finish his part-time season with a new sponsor and a chance to win his maiden race.
On Wednesday, November 3, GMS Racing issued a press release announcing that Quick Quack Car Wash will take over as the major sponsor of the No. 24 Chevrolet Silverado. He’ll do 150 laps and promote the drive-through car wash company, which has over 140 outlets in Arizona, California, Colorado, Texas, and Utah.

“I’m pleased to have a new and exciting partner on my truck for our final race of the year in Phoenix, as one of the top car washes on the west coast continues to extend its footprint.” Quick Quack Car Wash has completely altered the car washing game, and I can’t wait to have them on my No. 24 GMS Racing Chevrolet for the race finale in Phoenix.” In a press release, Wood stated.
Wood’s Part-Time Debut Season Will Come to an End
Wood made his Camping World Truck Series debut while also competing in the ARCA Menards Series. He competed in eight ARCA races and 11 Truck Series races in the first 20 events, finishing 10th at World Wide Technology Raceway on August 20 as teammate Sheldon Creed won.
During his first season in the Truck Series, Wood has a 26.7 average finish and has only finished four races. With an 11th-place finish at Nashville Superspeedway, he came within one position of cracking the top ten. Now he’ll wrap out his first season with a trip to Phoenix Raceway, where he’s never raced before in the Truck Series.
Wood has two starts in two distinct ARCA series, despite not having driven a Chevrolet Silverado to Phoenix. After an accident terminated his day in a 2020 ARCA Menards Series West race at the one-mile oval, he finished 24th… Nokia News – Quick Recap
