Odell Beckham Jr.’s father, in case you missed it, uploaded a viral video on Instagram on November 2 ripping Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield.

When OBJ was open downfield, the inexperienced signal-caller either missed him with an errant pass or didn’t throw to him at all, according to the 11-minute and 24-second video. As you can expect, this video has caused quite a stir in the NFL. We’ll leave it up to you to decide whether or not it’s worth it.

Ex-Chief Gives His Opinion

Many current and former players have weighed in on the social media post since it was published, but wide receiver Dwayne Bowe was one of the first to do so. During his eight-year time with the Kansas City Chiefs, the former fan favorite amassed over 530 receptions and 7,150 receiving yards.

He did, however, spend his final NFL season with a different team, the Browns. “Pop$ They Did Me the Same Way,” Bowe swiftly defended OBJ in response to Odell Beckham Sr.

Dwayne Bowe, a former #Browns wide receiver, has weighed in on the OBJ story today:

Before their recent upward trajectory, Cleveland was the league’s laughingstock for a long time, but like the Chiefs, they’ve underwhelmed so far in 2021 with a 4-4 record. They are currently in fourth place in the AFC North division, behind their.500 output.

They went 3-13 when Bowe was there in 2015, at the age of 31. During that season, the dependable wide receiver was only targeted 13 times in seven games, collecting five passes for 53 yards and three first downs – hence the six-year discontent.
