After the final injury report, the Jets and Colts will be without key players.
After a short week of preparation, the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts will face off in Week 9 of the 2021 NFL season.
At this stage in the season, injuries tend to pile up, and the Thursday night game doesn’t help players recover. Having said that, the Jets appear to be in better shape than they were a few weeks ago.
After varied lengths of absence, veterans such as C.J. Mosley, Jarrad Davis, Quincy Williams, and Marcus Maye have returned to play. Of course, quarterback Zach Wilson and left tackle Mekhi Becton, among others, are still out for Gang Green. Here are the complete Week 9 injury reports from Indianapolis.

The Colts are the home team.
With three-time All-Pro left guard Quenton Nelson designated as “questionable” for his final designation, the Colts will be without at least two big injury absences and possibly a third.
According to Colts Wire, the former first-round blocker has a toe injury and “should be expected to participate after being a projected limited participant on Wednesday.”
If Nelson is injured before kickoff, it will be a costly loss for the Indianapolis offense.
Three other Colts, including standout wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, have been ruled out for Thursday’s game. Due to injury, the 32-year-old playmaker has only played in two games this season, and he departed last week’s game with a concussion.
With Hilton out, Michael Pittman Jr. is the name to watch in this core of pass-catchers. This season, the former second-round pick has 45 receptions for 594 yards and four touchdowns. Bryce Hall will likely line up across from him as much as possible tonight for the Jets.
Begin with caution. After joining the injured reserve with a calf injury, Khari Willis will also miss Week 9. Other notable Indy players presently on the IR include:
Parris Campbell is a wide receiver. Sam Tevi, OT. Julian Blackmon, Julian Blackmon, Julian Blackmon, Julian Blackmon, Julian Blackmon,
DE Lewis, Tyquan
CB Carrie, T.J. T.J. T.J. T.J. T.J. Blankenship, Rodrigo
