The Ravens ‘would love’ to sign Odell Beckham Jr., according to an analyst…

With Odell Beckham Jr.’s future with the Cleveland Browns unknown, the Baltimore Ravens have been linked with yet another Pro Bowl wide receiver after a quiet trade deadline.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski warned his squad Monday that Beckham “is effectively not on the team right now,” implying that the former New York Giants wideout could be on his way receiver of Cleveland.

According to ESPN’s Jake Trotter and NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Beckham was also excused from today’s practice, stoking suspicion that his time with the Browns is up, with some speculating that he’ll stay in the AFC North.

Analysts believe Beckham is linked to the Ravens.

Today on Fox Sports’ “First Things First,” analyst Nick Wright mentioned the Ravens as a possible destination for Beckham, adding Baltimore “would love him.”

Pro Football Network’s Ben Rolfe also speculated that Beckham might visit Baltimore, writing:

Imagine the reaction in Cleveland if Beckham strolled right out of their building and into Baltimore. The combo of Marquise Brown, Rashod Bateman, and Sammy Watkins is strong, but Beckham would add another level of creative playmaking to the mix.

Bateman’s health has been an issue for the Ravens this season, and Watkins is also prone to injuries. Beckham, on the other hand, is unlikely to desire to be anything other than a starter. That may become a stumbling block for the Ravens, especially if Beckham begins to demand targets in a run-first attack.

When considering Beckham’s next team, The Ringer’s Steven Ruiz suggested the Ravens, noting that the team “could stand to add another strong receiver to the depth chart.”

According to Marc Bona of, the Ravens have the second-best odds to sign the great wide receiver, trailing only the New Orleans Saints.
