Thomas Jacobs Extends His Distance From the ‘Bachelorette’ Villain.
Thomas Jacobs explained why, unlike many of his Bachelor Nation co-stars, he hasn’t joined Cameo.
The “Bachelorette” alum, who is currently dating fellow series star Becca Kufrin, stated in an Instagram story that he isn’t interested in being a part of the celebrity video site, but he did offer fans another option to contact him.
“People ask me why I’m not jumping on Cameo like other guys,” he says in the video. “I just don’t care.” “However, if you want a video from me, send any amount of money to any charity you care about, along with a screenshot of that, to my email address, and I’ll give you one.”
The reality star then included a picture of his email address, which is email@example.com.
Many Bachelor Nation stars are available on Cameo, with varying pricing. According to the Cameo site, Jordan Kimball, the season 5 villain on “Bachelor in Paradise,” charges $85 for a video, while Demi Burnett requests $200. Another villain from the franchise, Robby Hayes, sells his fan videos for $150.
Fans reacted positively to Thomas’ kind offer, stating that he seemed to be a genuine nice guy.
A Reddit discussion about Thomas’ video offer went viral. Fans expressed their delight in seeing a new side of Thomas after witnessing him on Katie Thurston’s season of “The Bachelorette” in comments on the video’s Facebook page.
One follower said, “Alright, I’m starting to like Thomas a lot more now.”
“Is this the best redemption arc in the history of the Bach Nation?” Another concurred.
“His email address has been completely demonized,” said another. “Wow, such a kind person!” After all, Becca did win her season.”
Others focused on Katie Thurston’s role in portraying Thomas as a villain on her season of the ABC dating show.
One fan remarked, “I’ve always had a soft place for Thomas and didn’t think he deserved the villain storyline.” “He appears to be a real guy, even if he is uncomfortably honest. I’m glad he’s happy now with Becca. I enjoy his redemption journey since he doesn’t have to do much other than be himself.”
Another concurred, “Thomas is out here enjoying the last laugh and he’s so damn lovely that he’s trying to make it more of a chuckle.” “He appears to be a real dude… Think about it, Katie… Nokia News – Quick Recap
