Is NeNe Leakes Set to Return to the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Season 2? ..
NeNe Leakes has indicated whether or not she wants to return to season 14 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
The former long-time housewife appeared on “The Real” on Thursday, November 3, when the topic of her possible return to the show was discussed.
“Of course,” says the narrator. “I’ll be back on the show,” NeNe announced on the broadcast. “As long as we can sort out a few issues, I’m fine with returning to the show.” I’d love to come back to the show.”
She even stated that she and producer Andy Cohen have discussed a return.
“I think Andy and I were extremely close for a long time, and I really like Benny Boo [Benjamin], so I helped pay for his baby shower and all that stuff.” She said on the show, “I think Andy and I need to get down and discuss, and then we’re off to the races.”
NeNe appeared in the first season of the show, which premiered in 2008. She was on for seven seasons before switching to a “friend of” status in season eight. She didn’t show up for season 9, then returned for three more seasons before leaving after season 12.
She detailed a “very, very long, difficult, tiring, emotional negotiation” on her official YouTube website as she revealed her departure in September 2020.
In October, Bravo announced the addition of Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and Drew Sidora, as well as Marlo Hampton, Shereé Whitfield, and Sanya Richards-Ross, to Season 14.
Gregg Leakes, NeNe’s husband, died on September 1 after a four-year battle with cancer.
