Trevor Donovan has already started filming a new movie with fellow Hallmark star Rachel Boston for the 2021 holiday season. So far, here’s what we know.

Brian Bird, the executive producer and co-creator of “When Calls the Heart” and “When Hope Calls,” stated that a new film starring Rachel Boston and Trevor Donovan is now filming in Colorado in a Twitter post. He used the hashtag #Hearties in his post, which refers to “When Calls the Heart” followers, but it’s unclear why.

“An Engagement Plot” is the title of the film.

Donovan is seen fly fishing in at least one scene in the film.

Boston is filming while expecting a child. She announced in October that she is expecting a baby girl in the year 2022.

This is Donovan’s first time working with Boston, he wrote on Instagram.

The author of the book on which the film is based has similarly been tight-lipped about its release date. Kristia Phillips announced on Facebook on November 2 that she will be visiting the set shortly and is really excited.
