Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys’ running back, is suspended for a fumble in Week 10.

Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys was furious after fumbling for the first time in nearly a year during Sunday’s rout of the Atlanta Falcons.

“That’s something I’ve been doing well this year,” Elliott said after the 43-3 victory, according to the team’s official website.

“I’ve got to get my ball security locked down again.”

Their defense stepped up and played well against the run.

They were very disruptive because there was a lot of movement.

We went out and executed our plays.”

Elliott took a seven-yard carry on a 2nd-and-3 midway through the third quarter before coughing it up to Atlanta.

According to ESPN’s Todd Archer, this had not happened in 244 touches dating back to Thanksgiving last year.

Elliott, who spent the offseason working on his hands after losing a career-high five fumbles in 2020, led the team with 14 rushes for 41 yards and two touchdowns, as well as 15 receiving yards on three catches.

Both of Zeke’s touchdowns came as the Cowboys set a franchise record with 29 points in the second quarter.

“We knew going into the game we had to start fast, we knew we had to make up for last week,” Elliott said, referring to Dallas’ 30-16 loss to Denver last week.

“We want the ball first and foremost; we want to hit them in the mouth.”

We wanted to score first, so we did.”

4th-Down Aggressiveness is Zeke’s specialty.

The Cowboys were a perfect three-for-three on fourth-down attempts across 11 drives, highlighting a performance in which they generated 431 total yards of offense and held the ball for more than 37 minutes.

Two of the conversions came before Elliott’s touchdowns, energizing a team that had struggled to stay on the field against Denver.

“We’re going to play aggressively; that’s our mentality and how we’ll play football.”

According to Jon Machota of The Athletic, Elliott said after Sunday’s win, “We play aggressive.”

“Everything takes place on the field, with the call.

It’s irrelevant if you don’t like it.

That’s how we do things around here.”

“I feel like we dominated, and we played the way we know how to play,” said CeeDee Lamb, a wide receiver, via Machota.
