Conor McGregor Reacts to Chael Sonnen’s ‘Little Rich Weirdo’ Attack

Conor McGregor, a former two-division UFC champion, did not take “The American Gangster’s” recent comments lightly.

Chael Sonnen, a three-time UFC champion with a 31-17-1 professional MMA record, has spent his retirement working as a commentator and producing content for his YouTube channel.

And on the most recent episode of The American Gangster’s ESPN(plus) weekly series “The Chael Sonnen Show With Jorge Sedano,” Sonnen said McGregor is becoming a “little rich weirdo,” pointing to the way “Notorious” has acted online since his leg break courtesy of Dustin Poirier in July 2021.

McGregor has a habit of slamming several UFC fighters on Twitter, only to quickly delete the tweets.

He’s chosen fights and expressed interest in a number of potential opponents, but he’s still recovering and won’t be able to compete until later in 2022.

Sonnen’s co-host inquired about McGregor’s pacing around a room while watching his former opponent, Max Holloway, fight in the UFC’s Octagon.
