One thing Ryan Paevey would change about ‘Coyote Creek Christmas’ is the ending.
Ryan Paevey starred in the Hallmark Channel’s hugely popular “Coyote Creek Christmas.”
He co-starred in the film with Janel Parrish.
Paevey enjoyed his role in the film, but if he could, he would change one thing about it.
Paevey Wishes He Had More ‘Dad Stuff’ Scenes
Paevey expressed his desire for more scenes of his character engaging in activities with his son in an interview with Fansided.
“The unique feature was that I got to play a father in this one,” he explained.
I wish we had seen more of the father, but the show is more of a romance than a single-family drama.
But it was cool, and it was one-of-a-kind.
It was the first time in my career that I’d had the opportunity to do something like that.”

Azriel Dalman, who played his son, was also a pleasure to work with, he said.
He told Fansided, “The kid they hired, Azriel, he’s great.”
“He’s like a savant, a 40-year-old trapped in the body of a nine-year-old.”
He was a lot of fun to be around.
Almost the entire time I was in Canada, we had a great time.
… We watched movies together and spent a lot of time together.
It was enjoyable.”

He claimed to be Dalman’s Pokemon consultant and that the two of them frequently went to the movies and arcade together.
He went on to say that he was glad to see Hallmark movies depicting so many different types of families and family dynamics.
His parents divorced when he was young, so he didn’t grow up in a traditional family, he said.
“I was raised by two single parents,” he explained.
“Obviously, there was some collaboration there, but when I was at Mom’s house, I was at Mom’s house,” she says.
That was the end of it.
And I was at Dad’s house when I was at Dad’s house, and I was at Dad’s house when I was at Dad’s house, and I was at Dad’s house when
… They were both very unique situations, but I still had wonderful birthdays, Christmases, and other events.
Everything went smoothly.
That, however, was my reality.”
