Raiders should consider three free agents to help save the season.

If any other team were 5-4 halfway through the season and had a clear path to the playoffs, they’d be optimistic about their chances.

The Raiders of Las Vegas, on the other hand, are a unique team.

The team had clear paths to the playoffs in each of the previous two seasons, but squandered them in the final months.

It’s difficult not to believe that’s the team’s current path.

Following a 5-2 start, the Raiders have dropped two straight games to the New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs.

Although the trade deadline has passed and the majority of the best free agent options have already been signed, the team may still have options.

There are a couple of free agents who could help the Raiders finish the season strong.
