Tracy Walker Gives an Upbeat Update on Her Injury

In Week 10, the Detroit Lions tied the Pittsburgh Steelers in a hard-fought game, and safety Tracy Walker delivered one of the most punishing hits on the field.

Walker slammed into Pittsburgh quarterback Mason Rudolph, and while Rudolph escaped with minor injuries, Walker did.

He needed assistance getting off the field after lying on the turf for a few minutes.

After the contact, the key defender didn’t appear to be in good shape.

Walker, however, appears to be in good health.

He updated his situation on Instagram, saying he’s fine and should be ready to play against the Cleveland Browns in Week 11.

Given the Lions’ other issues in the secondary, it’s clear that they can’t afford to lose Walker for an extended period of time.

The Lions have a lot of injuries at cornerback, but they’ve managed to keep their health in good shape for the most part.

It’s good news for the defense that no serious injuries were sustained.

Since being drafted in the third round in 2018, Walker has been a reliable player for the Lions.

Walker recorded 21 tackles and one interception in his first season in the league.

From there, he’s only grown in prominence and managed to play a more significant role in the team’s defense.
