Mac Jones’ Flip-Floppers are chastised by a Chiefs star.

Don’t get caught by Kansas City Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu jumping on the Mac Jones train.

Mathieu took to Twitter to slam the “flip-floppers” and “sleep football” pundits who wrote off the New England Patriots’ rookie quarterback before the season began.

Mac Jones wasn’t fashionable enough for you at first, but now you love him….

You guys are hilarious!!! Every day!!! You guys should be on Comedy Central!!!

Every year, it seems like there’s a player or players who aren’t as well-known as others in their position, but who go on to prove they’re deserving of the same–if not more–hype.

Jones appears to fit into this category.

Despite being the fifth quarterback selected behind the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence, the New York Jets’ Zach Wilson, the San Francisco 49ers’ Trey Lance, and the Chicago Bears’ Justin Fields, Jones has easily blown away the other rookie quarterbacks in his class this season in all position-specific statistics.

While all four quarterbacks ahead of Jones have shown the potential that led to their selections in the first, second, third, and 11th rounds, Jones has been the most consistent.

Jones has 2,333 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, and only 7 interceptions through ten games.

The fact that his Patriots are 6-4 and he has started every game speaks volumes.

New England is on a four-game winning streak, and rumors are circulating that the team is a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

The Patriots are now in third place in the NFL in passer rating differential, a useful metric for predicting Super Bowl teams.

The Pats have finished fifth, second, fifth, fifth, first, and sixth in Super Bowl seasons.

A BuccaneersPatriots Super Bowl would shatter all previous records.

Hey, all of you who were laughing at my Patriots could “mess around and go to the Super Bowl” take… Run it back today, bruh! Or we’ll just make more excuses for the Browns.
