‘My Christmas Family Tree’ Sets a New Viewing Record for Hallmark Channel

“My Christmas Family Tree,” a new Hallmark Christmas film, has set a new viewing record.

It is now the most-watched Hallmark movie of the year in terms of same-day, live viewing.

More than 3 Million Live Viewers Watched ‘My Christmas Family Tree’

The ratings for Hallmark’s Christmas movies as of November 16 were compiled by the Twitter account @SleepyKittyPaw, using ShowbuzzDaily statistics.

These figures reflect only live viewings and do not include Live(plus)2, Live(plus)3, or any other delayed views following the premiere.

“My Christmas Family Tree” soared to the top of the ratings as Hallmark’s most-watched movie of 2021, including both Christmas and non-Christmas films.

On Saturday, Hallmark was the top non-football program of the day once again, with MY CHRISTMAS FAMILY TREE placing sixth overall.

With 3.27 million total viewers and a strong.36 in the demo, it became the first film of the year to break the 3 million viewer mark.

“My Christmas Family Tree” drew 3.27 million viewers, making it the first film of the year to reach that milestone.

The movie was also ranked sixth overall and the top non-football program of the day, according to the Twitter account @SleepyKittyPaw.

With 2.99 million viewers (just shy of three million) as of November 16, “Taking a Shot at Love,” starring Alexa PenaVega and Luke Macfarlane, was in second place.

“Next Stop, Christmas,” starring Christopher Lloyd, Lyndsy Fonseca, Chandler Massey, and Lea Thompson, is in third place with 2.79 million.

“It Was Always You,” starring Tyler Hynes and Erin Krakow, came in fourth place with 2.51 million, followed by “Open By Christmas,” starring Erica Durance, Brennan Elliott, and Alison Sweeney, with 2.46 million.

“Beverly Hills Wedding,” starring Brooke D’Orsay and Brendan Penny, comes in sixth place with 2.42 million viewers.

“Sweet Carolina,” starring Lacey Chabert and Tyler Hynes, is in seventh place with 2.38 million viewers.

“Coyote Creek Christmas,” starring Ryan Paevey and Janel Parrish, is ranked eighth with 2.35 million viewers.

“Snowissed” (Jen Lilley and Chris McNally) and “A Winter Getaway” (Nazneen Contractor and Brooks Darnell) round out the top ten with 2.34 million and 2.3 million, respectively.

Aimee Teegarden, Andrew Walker, Georgia Mae Orchard, and James Tupper were among the cast members of “My Christmas Family Tree.”
