The Big Three of the Chicago Bulls have a new and amusing moniker.

The Big Three of the Bulls Have a New and Hilarious Nickname

The Chicago Bulls are 10-4 and one of the most entertaining teams in the NBA, which may explain why DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and Lonzo Ball have been given a moniker.

Nicknames are frequently used as a symbol of adoration, but some are amusing and perhaps even inappropriate.

That’s where the new moniker for the Bulls’ Big 3 comes in.

Listen to Bulls analyst Kendall Gill reveal the nickname for DeRozan, Ball, and LaVine coined by a fan:

DeBallZach should not be dismissed so easily.

In fact, StatMuse has embraced the new moniker.

This season, DeBallZach ranked first among 3-man lineups without a center:

Jason Patt of Forbes appeared to find it amusing as well.

With his DeBallZach reference, Celtics beat writer John Karalis had a Manscape joke:

DeBallZach has been a rock for Chicago all season… and while we’re on the subject, Manscaped is currently running a special offer…

If you hear Stacey King refer to them as DeBallZach during a broadcast, you’ll know they’ve officially earned the moniker.

The Bulls’ unselfishness has been the key to their success.

Ball’s game is built on his ability to be selfless.

LaVine and DeRozan, on the other hand, have been nearly as selfless in their own right.

After the Bulls’ 121-103 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center, Elias Schuster of Bleacher Nation wrote about DeRozan and LaVine’s selflessness.

To begin the season, DeRozan and LaVine have been the NBA’s best duo.

After reports of DeRozan’s initial addition surfaced this summer, many questioned the pairing, but the two are now the only teammates to share a spot among the NBA’s top-10 scorers.

With 26.9 points per game, DeRozan is third in the league, trailing only Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry.

LaVine, on the other hand, is at No. 1 in the rankings.

7 with an average of 25.9 points per night.

And, while that number is technically declining for a player who averaged 27.4 points per game last season, it’s safe to say he doesn’t seem to mind…
