Jax Taylor provides an update on his professional life.

Jax Taylor is looking to add to his resume.

The former “Vanderpump Rules” star revealed in a new interview with his wife Brittany Cartwright that he’s ready to leave Hollywood and settle down in the South or Midwest, but he didn’t rule out a return to television if the right show came calling.

Taylor told “Access” that the house he and his wife live in in Valley Village, California, might not be their forever home.

“I’m still undecided about wanting to live here and raise a family in California,” Jax admitted.

“My wife is from Kentucky, and I’m a Midwesterner.”

We grew up in a different environment.

He also mentioned that he and Brittany don’t have any relatives who live “in the same time zone” as them.

Nearly a year after leaving “Vanderpump Rules,” the couple said they’d be “open” to returning to TV in a show about parenting or their “current” lives.

Taylor, on the other hand, revealed a new career path that no one saw coming.

Taylor told Access, “I decided to do a book that wasn’t like any other book I’d done, a children’s book.”

“People are aware that I lost my father four years ago. I was extremely close with my father, and having a son obviously leaves a gap, so I wanted to find a way to incorporate my father into my son’s life.”

So I wrote a tribute to my father, similar to a love letter to my son.

It’s just that I wrote a book for children.”
