Chelsea Houska DeBoer, a “Teen Mom 2” alum, received backlash after showing off new clothing items on Lily and Lottie, her collaboration with Laurie Belles, a South Dakota-based boutique.

The price of one of the T-shirts, the Veblen Oversized Tee by Chelsea DeBoer, which costs (dollar)32, did not impress fans.

The item is available in four colors: bone, butterscotch, and cornflower blue, as well as heathered charcoal.

“The team found a way to transform the basic tee into an every day, MUST HAVE, staple piece!” says the description of the newest Chelsea DeBoer X Lily andamp; Lottie collaboration.

“It’s made of a soft and smooth fabric that almost feels like velvet and has an oversized boxy fit.”

“You’ll never want to take it off! The styling options are endless–pair with biker shorts, front-tuck into a pair of jeans, or throw on with your favorite joggers for a quick and easy on-the-go outfit,” says the description.

“You’ll be pulling this classic tee from your closet for years to come!”

One of Houska’s friends, Chelsey Grace, who also models for Laurie Belles, praised the “Teen Mom 2” alum.

Chelsey Grace posted on Instagram, “BFF outdid herself on this one.”

“**The softest shirt I’ve ever worn and it fits oversized!!! I adore how the sleeves are longer and hang perfectly off the shoulder!!”

Fans on Reddit shared screenshots of Houska wearing the tee, and Lily and Lottie shared the item on their official Instagram page.

Hundreds of “Teen Mom” fans took to Reddit to express their displeasure with Houska’s latest item for Lily and Lottie’s price tag.

There were over 70 comments on a thread about the topic.

One social media user wrote, “These are the shirts they kept in my middle school’s office for when we violated dress code.”

Another simply wrote, “This is just getting ridiculous now.”

“The shirt is ridiculous, but those pants are amazing!” said a third person.

Houska was not universally vilified.

“Do I think that’s stupid? Yes,” she says.

Is it exclusive to Chelsea?

A supporter of the South Dakota native explained, “This is pretty standard in any smaller or locally owned shop.”

“Drag her as much as you want, but this is nice…”
