Baker Mayfield, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, has sent a message to Jarvis Landry.

Baker Mayfield, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, sends Jarvis Landry a message.

Jarvis Landry didn’t sound happy about his role in the Cleveland Browns offense when he spoke to reporters earlier this week, and Baker Mayfield wants to change that.

Landry is a leader in the Browns’ locker room, and he expressed his dissatisfaction in a diplomatic manner during his Thanksgiving Food Drive, which was an awkward setting for the interview.

Landry told reporters, “I haven’t been getting the ball as much.”

“But, in the end, I’ve been able to do with the opportunities I’ve been given.”

Yes, I’m dealing with some issues, but on Sundays, I always give it my all, and that won’t change.”

Landry missed four games due to a knee injury, but he still has 34 targets, second only to tight end Austin Hooper on the team.

Landry has 219 yards and no touchdowns on 23 catches.

Odell Beckham Jr., who had a problem with his lack of targets, and the Browns recently went through a highly publicized divorce.

Mayfield promises Landry will play a bigger role in the team.

Mayfield struggled against the Patriots, throwing for only 73 yards on 11 of 21 passing with one touchdown and one interception.

Landry only had four catches for 28 yards, but that accounted for a significant portion of the passing game’s struggles.

When asked about Landry’s role, Mayfield promised to give him more opportunities.

“We’ll figure out how to get Jarvis back into the game plan.”

On November 17, Mayfield stated unequivocally, “There is no doubt about that.”

“For us, he’s a pacesetter.”

For us, he’s a fantastic leader and locker-room guy.

That is common knowledge.”

Browns offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt echoed Mayfield’s sentiments.

“Look for solutions.

“Just find ways to get him involved in the run game, whether it’s quick throws, double moves, or getting him involved in the pass game,” Van Pelt told reporters.

“Whatever it is, he needs to touch the ball more, and that is something we are aware of.”

Mayfield’s Toughness is lauded by Landry.

A slew of injuries hasn’t helped Mayfield’s cause…
