On Thursday afternoon, a horrifying traffic accident occurred in the Windsor Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, in which a fast-moving car slammed into several other vehicles, killing at least five people—among them a pregnant woman and her infant son.

The CCTV footage of the incident has been widely disseminated online.

In the video, you can see several cars driving through a busy intersection.

After a short while, a car is seen speeding toward the intersection and slamming into the oncoming traffic.

The video shows smoke rising from the debris as well as the impact setting the involved vehicles on fire.

The text in the message stated, “Surveillance video shows a violent crash that left five dead, the intersection of La Brea and Slauson.”

Approximately one hour ago, a violent collision at La Brea and Slauson resulted in 5 fatalities, as seen on surveillance video.

Los Angeles’ South La Brea and Slauson intersection, close to Ladera Park, is where the accident happened, according to KTLA, at around 1.40 pm.

In response to the emergency, the California Highway Patrol and the fire department assisted those at the intersection.

According to reports, the collision caused two of the cars to catch fire.

According to the report, Nicole Linton, a 37-year-old nurse, was the driver of the Mercedes that was traveling too fast.

Law enforcement detained her following the collision.

Investigators concluded that Ms. Linton slammed through the heavy traffic at an excessive speed at the time of the collision.

According to the report, she is currently receiving medical attention and is helping the authorities with their inquiry.

A 23-year-old pregnant woman and her 1-year-old boy were among the five fatalities, according to a report by the Los Angeles Times.

According to reports, the accident occurred as the deceased woman and her boyfriend were on their way to a doctor’s appointment.
