Assassin’s Creed Infinity: Ubisoft takes Fortnite and GTA 5 as models for the series


Work on Assassin’s Creed Infinity seems to be in full swing already. This is supposed to take other games as a model compared to the predecessors.

Assassin’s Creed is one of the biggest franchises. It is to be expanded with a new game. The new project is codenamed Assassin’s Creed Infinity. A spokeswoman for Ubisoft confirmed the existence of this game. This is said to be different from its predecessors, according to a source from Bloomberg. The development studio reportedly has two other games in mind as models for the latest installment in the series. Apparently, Assassin’s Creed Infinity will be an online platform that is constantly changing.

With each new Assassin’s Creed game, the players:inside dive into a new historical setting. Most recently, players roamed the Nordic realms as Vikings in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla*. Players were also able to experience the world through the eyes of an assassin in Egypt or in the times of Leonardo Da Vinci. This is now to change with the latest part of the series. According to a source from Bloomberg, Assassin’s Creed Infinity will no longer focus on just one historical setting, but several. It offers room for expansion and the individual contents would be connected.
